1. Purpose
Career Compass supports Grade 12 assessment, program exploration and guidance, with Las Piñas National High School – Senior High School as its research locale. It is an educational decision-support system, not a college admissions service.
2. Account responsibilities
Provide accurate account, strand and section details. Use only your own account, protect your password, and tell your Guidance Advocate if information is incorrect or access appears unauthorized. Staff accounts remain subject to the school's approval process.
3. Honest assessment participation
Answer independently and honestly. Do not seek answer keys, impersonate another student, alter records, or interfere with the system. Recommendations combine category-specific Academic Strength (40.00%), Personality (20.00%) and Interest (40.00%) results under the existing scoring rules.
4. Understanding recommendations
Match scores and rankings support exploration. They do not guarantee admission, employment, a scholarship or success in a program. College degree examples are possible pathways within categories. Confirm current offerings and entry requirements directly with the institution. Personality results are self-reported educational information, not clinical diagnoses.
5. Chat and acceptable use
AI replies can contain mistakes and have no live web lookup. Verify important or time-sensitive information. Do not upload harmful material, confidential documents, or another person's private information. Use human guidance for personal decisions or concerns beyond the chatbot's role; the chat is not an emergency service.
6. Availability and help
Access may be affected by maintenance, connectivity or provider limits. Report problems to your school's Guidance Advocate. If you are under 18 or need help understanding these terms, review them with a parent, guardian or Guidance Advocate before registering.
7. Version and acceptance
Version 2026-11-01. New registrations require an unchecked acceptance box to be selected by the applicant. Opening or closing this notice does not accept it for you. Updated terms will carry a new version date.
1. Information used
Career Compass uses your name, username, email, strand, section, account details, assessment answers and results, recommendations, and guidance conversations. Profile photos and chat attachments are optional. Session cookies and operational logs support sign-in, account protection and troubleshooting.
2. Purpose and access
Records support assessments, program recommendations, student guidance and school reporting. Students access their own records. Authorized Guidance Advocates and Principal users can access student information and reports within their assigned permissions. Aggregate analytics describe the selected registered-student population.
3. External services and optional AI chat
Using AI chat may send your message, recent conversation, name, strand, section, available results and recommendations to the responding provider. The configured failover order is Gemini, Groq, Cloudflare, then Mistral. Hosting, Google sign-in and email services also process information needed for their functions. Provider processing may take place outside the Philippines. Avoid sending passwords, identity documents, or private information about other people. You can use assessments and reports without using AI chat.
4. Your choices and requests
You may ask about your information, request access or correction, and raise an objection or deletion request, subject to applicable requirements. Contact your school's Guidance Advocate for account or privacy concerns and the appropriate school contact. Unresolved privacy concerns may be raised with the National Privacy Commission.
5. Retention and security
Contact your school's Guidance Advocate about retention periods and deletion requests. Removal may be subject to applicable school record-keeping and legal requirements. Keep your password private, sign out on shared devices, and report suspected unauthorized access. No online service can promise complete security.
6. Understanding this notice
This notice explains processing; acknowledging it does not waive your privacy rights or authorize unrelated future uses. If you are under 18, review it with a parent, guardian or Guidance Advocate when you need help understanding it. The Data Privacy Act of 2012 provides the relevant Philippine privacy framework.
